Ever been in that unfortunate position? Running out of toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste or soap is so annoying especially if you need it now. Well, don’t ever get caught with your pants down or dripping wet, instead set up a system to manage your bathroom supplies. It’s easy and it goes something like this:
- DECIDE on the amount of spare supplies you need – this will be based on your household usage of course. You may go through 6 rolls of toilet paper a week and one tube of toothpaste a month for example.
- CREATE a space for at least one or more spares in your bathroom so it’s easy to grab a spare immediately the current item runs out.
- REPLENISH as you run out of SPARES. Simply add the item to your shopping list as you use the spare and never get caught with your pants down again.
Amelia decided that she always needed 10 rolls of toilet paper and 2 tubes of toothpaste in her household as spares. So she made room for 2 spare rolls of toilet paper and one tube of toothpaste in each of her two bathrooms and as THE SPARES run out, the shopping list is adjusted to top up the spare supply. She kept the extra supplies in her Garage Supermarket where she keeps SET AMOUNTS (6 rolls of toilet paper in this case) of spare supplies for her bathroom, kitchen and laundry.
